Effective today, July 1, 2010...TEXTING and DRIVING is now illegal in the state of Georgia. We've been worned for years about the dangers of texting and driving, but it doesn't seem to have slowed down our technology crazed culture.
You may now think twice before texting and driving. Violators are looking at $150 fine and 1 point on their license.
Even if you're a safe driver, it should seem obvious that not everyone is.
