Being broke is always assumed when you think of the word college student. But it doesn’t have to be that way!!!

I did my research and found someone tips on how YOU can save money while going to school. It’s possible!

#1 Ration Eating Out- Trust me when I say that I know how fun and tempting it is to go out with your friends to eat all the time. It’s fast and quick plus you get some good laughs out of it. However, eating out is eating out your wallet. Making your own meals (as hard as it might be) is way more efficient. You save more money and you learn how to cook! (Bonus if you can already cook 🙂  )

#2 Go Old School- Sure, buying new clothes is the best feeling in the world but was that white t-shirt REALLY worth $35 when you could of found it at a thrift shop or Goodwill for less than $10? I agree that splurging every now and then is good for the soul but try to make an effort in finding similar clothing items for less. And thrift-shopping is fun! I can’t tell you how many times I have walked out of Goodwill with 5 shirts for FIFTEEN DOLLARS!!!

#3 StudySoup- Are you a great note-taker? Would you like to get PAID for your notes? Well, now you can! StudySoup allows you to sell your notes for all types of classes! What a great little way to make money on the side without slamming your already busy schedule!

#4 Discounts- Look for student discounts. You may not believe they are there but trust me they are! Literally just look up on Google what companies offer discounts and boom you’re set. I know Spotify, Apple Music, GOODWILL, Best Buy, Apple, and Amazon offer discounts! The choices are endless! Just don’t forget your ID!

#5 Rent- This one is a no-brainer. Rent your textbooks as apposed to buying them. Chegg offers A LOT of great deals. I use them myself, and they are amazing.

#6 Gym- Use the school gym! Why pay $25 a month when you could just use your school gym for FREE! It’s that simple!

I hope you got some useful information from this and also some encouragement that YOU CAN HAVE MONEY! I believe in you! Good luck!
