Ed Gillman

Ed Gillman founded the agency, in 1993 after moving to Atlanta from South Florida. His 35 years of insurance experience began as a third-generation member of his family’s agency in Miami.He is a graduate of the University of Virginia (BA Govt) and the College of Insurance in New York City (Graduate diploma in Risk and Insurance). Ed resides in Alpharetta where he enjoys playing golf, rooting for the Braves, and his empty nester status. He is the proud father of two daughters, the eldest recently married and a teacher at The Galloway School in Atlanta, and the youngest starting her graduate degree at Emory Nursing School. During his career at Gillman, Ed has served on several board of advisors and board of directors for local nonprofit entities. Ed has also served on the following insurance carrier agent advisory groups:

• Safeco

In addition to being Chief Problem Solver at Gillman Insurance, Ed wears many hats. He founded AgentSecure which is an online wholesale insurance operation and in partnership with Corporate Payroll Service, started Corporate Insurance Solutions which provides business insurance solutions to payroll customers. He purchased 3G Truckin’ Insurance which specializes in handling transportation risks as well as APA Insurance Services, a photography insurance program exclusively endorsed by APA (Advertising Photographers of America).
