This man’s face paints a compelling picture for sun-gods/goddesses everywhere!

Truck driver Bill McElligott has unilateral dermatoheliosis, according to The New England Journal of Medicine. This means that UV rays have transmitted through the window of his delivery truck and severly damaged the skin on the left side of his face during his 28-year career.

As you can see, the left side of McElligott’s face appears to look much older than the right, the Toronto Star reports. Even medical experts are shocked by the case.

In the Daily Telegraph, Dr. Jennifer Gordon, a dermatology expert who treated McElligot, explains, “We are used to seeing photo damage by sun, photo aging, every day, but I was taken aback when I saw how one-sided this was.”

Professionals have advised McElligot to utilize sun protection, tropical retinoids and skin cancer monitoring services.
